Our floor fitters are experts at fitting any type of carpet in any type of room. We can move furniture if you are unable to get it out the room. They relish a challenge whether it be a stair runner with stair rods or an awkward shaped hallway with umpteen joins, I can assure you we’ve fitted similar in the past.
- Cheaper carpet ranges are ideal when you have a budget to stick to and want to freshen the place up at a fairly low cost. All carpets in this price range will be made from manmade fibres which is very hard wearing
- Mid range price carpets normally have introduced wool into the manufacturing process creating 80% wool 20% manmade carpets giving them a deeper pile and more luxurious feel to them. Usually they have a larger selection of colours to pick from.
- When buying a carpet from £45 per square metre upwards you can expect to be buying a proper woven carpet. Woven carpets are superior to tufted carpets due to their construction. Weaving produces stronger stability. These carpets will be of the highest quality and would require a top grade underlay to be fitted before the carpet is fitted
Vinyl
Modern trends tell us that nearly all kitchens and bathrooms are now fitted with vinyl. It’s easy to clean and with most vinyls being of a non-slip variety you can have a safe hard wearing floor which will last for years.
The key to a long lasting vinyl floor is having a smooth sub floor beneath the new vinyl. We can lay a plywood floor or screed any type of eneven floor before you have the new vinyl fitted. This is usually a small price to pay to ensure you get the most out of your new vinyl.
Vinyl Tiles
Becoming more and more popular as they are harder wearing than standard vinyl and give you more scope to design your own floor to suit the room
Laminate/Wood
Still in high demand as very hard wearing with traditional and modern styles of either wood effect or tile effect laminate. Choosing a real wood floor gives your home that clean look of elegance it longs for.
